Air Partner reports that it has won significant new business following the post-September 11 launch of its CharterPlus2 aviation insurance guarantee. Of the 200 flights booked between November and January by the group’s commercial aircraft division, 60 per cent were operated under the guarantee and half were from new customers.

One example of CharterPlus2 in action was seen in December when an aircraft taxiing for take-off in Sardinia developed undercarriage problems causing the flight to be aborted. Air Partner located a replacement in Spain and flew it to Sardinia to continue the operation at no extra cost to the client.
