Gold Air International has released its trading figures for the last financial quarter, revealing an almost 60 per cent increase in sales post September 11.
Based at London’s Biggin Hill, the company has a fleet including five Learjet 45s, Hawker 800 and Citation Bravo aircraft.
David Gold, chairman of Gold Air, said: "There's no doubt that after the events of September 11, the big commercial airlines such as British Airways have been experiencing a difficult time.
“Conversely, Gold Air Inter-national is going from strength to strength as we benefit from an influx of businessmen and celebrities who are preferring to charter private jets for the same cost of travelling first class with commercial airlines."
