Nimbus Group Incorporated has announced a US$1.2 billion deal to finance one thousand Eclipse 500 jet aircraft on order with Eclipse Aviation, to be delivered from 2004.

Nimbus received the financial commitment from DAFIN Asset Finance Limited, an affiliate of

the Royal Bank of Scotland International.

Mitchell Morgan, cfo of Nimbus hailed the agreement: “This facility will allow Nimbus to purchase our entire fleet of aircraft, thus enabling Nimbus to become the leader in the air-taxi service industry.”

Commenting on the financial commitment, Steve Redman, ceo of DAFIN said: “We share the vision

of Nimbus in this untapped market segment.

Nimbus will add a new dimension to cost and convenience or corporate and private travellers revolutionising the global air travel industry.”
