Denmark’s Air Support has completed the development and testing of a new RVSM version of the PPS Preflight Planning System, which was delivered to all current PPS users before the RVSM regulations applying to European airspace were introduced on 24th January 2002.

The new RVSM update will automatically calculate RVSM entry and exit waypoints for certified aircraft on flights going into or out of the RVSM airspace.

In Europe, the new software will automatically calculate and assign the optimum but proper Flight Level for certified aircraft according to the RVSM cruising tables.

ATC flight plan routings will be automatically modified by the program, with all level changes and entry/exit waypoints altered to correspond with the RVSM route filing requirements.

The new module function will be given to all PPS customers subscribing to the annual update service free of charge.
