Advanced Aerodynamics and Structures has announced that it has received additional orders valued at more than $11 million for its Jetcruzer 500, increasing the company’s backlog to more than $237 million for 197 aircraft.
A spokesman said: “The 500 is a high speed single engine propjet, designed for customers in world markets who desire high-performance, jet-like transportation at the lowest price ($1.495 million). It is capable of flying non-stop under IFR requirements for almost 1,500 statute miles and allows first class passenger seating for six (including the pilot).”
