Bombardier has launched the new PrecisionPlus upgrade for its Challenger 604. Developed by Rockwell Collins as an enhancement to the aircraft’s current Pro Line 4 avionics suite, the PrecisionPlus upgrade offers several new features, including automation of both Vspeed calculation and thrust setting as primary information, and three-dimensional display of the aircraft’s flight plan.

Having received certification from Transport Canada and the FAA, the upgrade has been installed on all new production aircraft since June 2001 and is now available to current 604 operators.
