A fleet of 26 MD Explorer helicopters has accumulated 33,750 flight hours performing air medical missions around the world.
More than 80 MD Explorers are in operation in the US, Germany, Luxembourg, Japan, England, and the Netherlands. Many are dedicated to medical service, but several, including some operated by Police Aviation Services in England, also perform police work. The most recent sales of air medical MD Explorers have been to customers in the US, including Mercury Air Service and Air Methods Corporation.
