Air Harrods has announced the order of an Agusta A109E Power ‘Elite’ helicopter, which it says will make it the only UK operator to offer this version for public charter. The aircraft seats up to seven passengers and the company claims that it is the fastest corporate helicopter available. The purchase was made through Sloane Helicopters and delivery will take place in early 2002.

The Italian designed and built aircraft takes the company’s corporate helicopter fleet to four, adding to two Sikorsky S76s and a Eurocopter EC135TI.
