Gulfstream Aerospace is offering the same package of benefits on previously owned Gulfstream 100 and 200 aircraft that it had traditionally offered on the sale of other previously owned Gulfstream business jets.
The G100s, including all the in-service Astras, and all the G200s, previously known as the Galaxy, can now be sold and/ or purchased through the company’s pre-owned sales department.
“The package includes a limited warranty, pilot training for two pilots, maintenance training for one technician, and repainting the aircraft at no cost after delivery.”
In addition, Gulfstream now offers brokerage services to individuals who seek either assistance in purchasing or selling a previously owned mid-size or super mid-size business jet.
Meanwhile, the GIV-SP has achieved a 99.6 per cent dispatch reliability rate over the past year, while the GIV fleet passed the milestone of 1.5 million hours of in-service flight time.
“A dispatch reliability of 99.6 per cent is absolutely phenomenal for a business jet aircraft,” said Bill Boisture, president and coo. “We attribute this average to several factors, the aeroplane’s great design, and our own internal process to identify and eliminate issues that negatively impact on the dispatch and reliability rate.”
In addition, the GV fleet has achieved a dispatch reliability rate of more than 99 per cent.
“Most of the entry-into-service issues on the GV have been identified and resolved by making small engineering revisions to various aircraft systems,” said Pres Henne, senior vp of programmes.
“As the GV fleet grows, the dispatch reliability rate should improve accordingly.”
