With the imminent implementation of European RVSM, the CSE Citation Centre at Bournemouth International Airport, UK, was the first European facility to install the Citation Jet RVSM service bulletins and is now offering a number of other Cessna bulletins for earlier 500 series Citations.

The centre is said to be the first to place orders for the Citation 500 series (‘Legacy’) RVSM kits and will be the launch facility for this long awaited Cessna RVSM solution.

The centre’s sales and support manager, Steve Ayling said: “There are around 400 affected Citations in Europe today, the majority of which still have not embodied RVSM solutions and time is running out. By the end of January next year they will face serious operational restrictions.”

The CSE Citation Centre claims to be the only Cessna Authorised Service Centre that specialises exclusively in Citation-only maintenance in Europe and has done so for nearly 30 years.

A number of US-based aircraft dealers choose the UK-based CSE Citation Centre for surveys and modifications because, it says, labour rates are typically half that of some European competitors. Fixed-price, pre-buy surveys are offered, as are phase inspections and import/export of all US registered aircraft.
