Spanish charter company Audeli Air plans to replace its managed Hawker 800XP, with the purchase of at least three more aircraft in the coming months. Flight co-ordinator Lourdes Sanchez explained: “The Hawker was managed for its owners, who have now set up their own company, Air Executive, to run the aircraft. The owners were the only people who used it, and surprisingly they flew in it almost every day.” Sanchez said that the Hawker 800 is extremely popular in Spain, with charterers preferring it over the Falcons and Citations.
Audeli’s current fleet includes three Falcon 20s (two of which the company owns) and a Hawker 700, although sister companies can be called upon for a further fleet selection. “The Hawker 800 is a popular choice due to its comfortable interior, and its range is perfect for flying within Europe. We tried a flight once to Mexico also, but some things didn’t work out too well. There was not enough room for catering, and
bad weather also hindered the journey,” said Sanchez. The company’s president is planning to replace the Hawker with three aircraft, two of which will be used for cargo and the other for passengers. Although as of yet there has been no further information, Sanchez said that she would certainly be happy
with another Hawker.
