Helitech, the helicopter technology and operations exhibition and conference, has already attracted approaching 300 exhibitors from 17 countries.

The event is being held at Duxford in the UK on 25-28 September. Over 7,000 visitors are expected to view civil, military, police and air ambulance related products and services, together with 33 aircraft during the show.

Located at the Imperial War Museum airfield at the old Battle of Britain base, the show will be opened by Lord Glenarthur, chairman of the British Helicopter Advisory Board.

A number of companies have indicated that they will be making announcements at the show and displaying a wide range of products and services.

Eurocopter, working with their UK distributor McAlpine Helicopter, has chosen to launch the EC130 helicopter to the UK and European rotorcraft community.

The EC130 follows the EC155 and EC120 which were both previewed at Helitech in 1999 and 1997.
