ExecuJet Scandinavia meets JAA
ExecuJet Scandinavia's maintenance division has passed a CAA (SLV) audit confirming that its aircraft maintenance and service processes and management system comply with Europe's Joint Aviation Authorities' JAR 145 requirements.

ExecuJet Scandinavia's maintenance division has passed a CAA (SLV) audit confirming that its aircraft maintenance and service processes and management system comply with Europe's Joint Aviation Authorities' JAR 145 requirements.

In terms of the requirements, ExecuJet Scandinavia – previously working under the authority of another maintenance organisation – may now maintain and release to service, the aircraft and components under their own JAR 145 certificate.

Said a spokesman: “This achievement demonstrates to ExecuJet's customers that it has met and passed one of the aviation industry's most stringent maintenance quality standards.”

ExecuJet Scandinavia says its maintenance division is the first ‘start-up’ maintenance organisation in Denmark to have been audited and met the JAR 145 requirements since the JAR was adopted and implemented into Denmark.

In a related development, the company’s maintenance management system has been selected by Denmark's Aeronautical Institute as a benchmark against which quality auditors in the aviation industry are trained.
