Contrary to an article written on page 3 of EBAN’s August issue, the UK is not the first country to privatise its national air traffic services. Germany privatised its services (now under the name of DFS) many years ago. Said EBAN reader Andreas Riedel: “After a lot of promises, nothing was done except spending more money on even more bureaucracy. Good luck for your privatisation [in the UK].”
