Anglo American Airmotive has been appointed aircraft sales representative for Genova-based Piaggio Aero Industries, which manufactures the £3.3 million executive P180 Avanti. Operating out of Bournemouth International airport, the company is already the sole distributor for New Piper Aircraft in the UK, Ireland and Spain. Md John Norris said: “We see the Avanti as a rival to aircraft such as the Cessna Bravo and Premier 1. It may have props, but the Avanti performs as well as many of the executive jets and is more economical to operate.”
