Ibis piles on the orders for Ae270 propjet
Ibis Aerospace has announced a backlog of 51 orders for its Ae270 propjet, representing over $US100 million for the company’s Ae270 single-engine turboprop aircraft. Ibis’ Karel Sovak said: “We have one preliminary European order, with more expected to follow.” News of the order book follows on the heels of Ibis' recent appointment of its first US distributor, Piedmont-Hawthorne, and distributors in Australasia and Africa. The Ae270 is a large cabin, pressurised aircraft designed to carry up to 10 people (two crew and eight passengers) over stage lengths of up to 1,300 nautical miles with NBAA IFR reserves.
