Boeing Business Jets has announced that Lee Monson will become president of the company, replacing Borge Boeskov, who will retire early next year.

Monson was formerly vice president of sales for BBJ; he and Boeskov will work in dual roles until Boeskov’s retirement. Monson will report to Mike Bair, executive vice president of Boeing Commercial Aviation Services.

“All of us welcome Lee to his new leadership role, and we also thank Borge for his many contributions to the Boeing Company throughout his career," said commercial aeroplanes president and ceo Alan Mulally. “Under Borge’s leadership, BBJ has achieved unprecedented sales success and opened the door to expanded markets in both business aviation and government applications.”
