Hoorn blows Jetstream’s trumpet
Tulip Air has already taken charter bookings for its newly-delivered Jetstream 31. Operations manager Hans van Hoorn said: “So far, we’ve had business flights booked to Budapest and Reykjavic. “We chose the aircraft – which has been repainted in our livery – because a lot of our clients require an aircraft which seats up to eighteen passengers. We’re filling a hole in the market.” The Dutch charter and management company is also one of the launch customers for Raytheon’s Hawker 450. It will operate the aircraft on behalf of a private owner, who does not wish it to be used for charter purposes. Delivery is expected in approximately four years time.
