Paris Air Show - the biggest yet
The 44th Paris Air Show will be held at the Paris-Le Bourget exhibition centre, running from Sunday 17 to Sunday 24 June 2001.

The 44th Paris Air Show will be held at the Paris-Le Bourget exhibition centre, running from Sunday 17 to Sunday 24 June 2001.

This year more than 1,800 exhibitors have been confirmed, representing 43 countries, including Belarus, Georgia, Finland and Northern Ireland.

The show will be open to trade visitors every day from June 16 to 24, between 09.30 and 18.00.

The last two days of the show will allow visitors to witness ten TBM 700 twin-props by Socata flying in from all over the world, celebrating the tenth anniversary of the first TBM 700 entering into service.

Vip versions of the A319 by EADS of the EU and the B337 by Boeing will also be on show.

Agusta Westland (the merged helicopter departments of British company Westland and Italy’s Finmeccanica), Dassault Aviation and EADS (the merger of DaimlerChrysler Aerospace, Aerospatiale-Matra and Casa) have all booked a number of chalets for the show, which is about 10 per cent bigger than the 1999 event.
