Chalair targets Italy and Africa with second Citation II
Chalair has received its second Citation II, for the purposes of air charter and air cargo flights. EBAN caught up with Alain Durdek, the company’s flight director, who said: “We will be using them to fly to locations such as Milan, Turin and Naples. We also have clients who will be chartering the aircraft to North Africa.”

With the new aircraft purchase, Chalair’s clients will benefit from one extra seat, as the new Citation

II has room for eight, whereas theold one can only accommodate seven passengers.

Durdek added: “The last eighteen months have been very good for us, with regard to air charter work. This year, we have been making a lot of cargo flights.

Most commonly, we take car parts to destinations such as Porto and Madrid.”

Chalair’s fleet consists of six Beech 200s, one 1900D, two 90s and one Beech 100.
