Jeppesen has released version 8.3 of its FliteStar flight planning software and FliteMap moving map software with new features, including worldwide graphical weather overlays, enhanced user security, and several other new international features.

“FliteStar/FliteMap users have more international features than ever before, including access to worldwide weather directly from Jeppesen," says Matt Ruwe, product manager of navigational software. "We have offered weather on a test basis for several months, and now the weather is available for customers to view and overlay on charts within FliteStar and FliteMap on an ongoing basis."
