Air BP has released an interactive general aviation training CD-ROM that is available to both Air BP dealers and non-dealers alike. The CD provides a platform to introduce safe fueling practices to line service personnel. The training resource breaks down 35 individual tasks and guides the viewer through the operations, maintenance, health, safety and environmental sections of the general aviation fueling operations. Detailed information is provided, the company says, on key areas such as fuel farm operations, refueler loading/ unloading, aircraft fueling, fire prevention equipment and other related tasks. According to Air BP, the CD will take FBO training to a different level and encourage user participation.
