Nürnberg charterer Aero-Dienst has recently added a Challenger 604 to its fleet and has already carried out flights to Spain, the United Kingdom and France.
Asked about the strengths of the 604, spokesman Armin Hoehnemann told European Business Aviation News: “The size of the cabin, the range potential, the payload range and the overall economy. It is also a very reliable aircraft.
Aero-Dienst, which is one hundred per cent owned by the Allgemeine Deutsche Automobile Club (ADAC), manages this 604 on behalf of a private owner, but also has its own Hawker 1000, two King Airs and a Lear 31.
The Hawker is used for ambulance repatriation work and the King Airs are used for that and executive travel, depending on market demand.
The company has one owned and one managed Lear 31, which have been carrying out duties to Italy, Greece, Turkey and Hungary since coming online last December and February respectively.
