The alliance which was recently created between Avcon Ltd and ExecuJet Flight Operations, is on the verge of adding a Global Express to its current charter offering of two Challenger 604s and one Lear 45.
From its Zurich base, Avcon Air Charter md Ettore Rodaro said: “We are steadily expanding our own charter fleet operated under JAR OPS 1, which inlcudes the addition of a Global Express.”
Under md Peter Harmann, Avcon Ltd manages in excess of 50 business aircraft, including the fleet of Avcon Air Charter, ranging from turboprops to airline-size jets.
ExecuJet Flight Operations’ parent, ExecuJet Aviation Group, says it has booked new jet sales in Scandinavia and southern Africa and also won significant business in the charter and outsourced flight department services market, in Scandinavia, the Middle East, southern Africa and Australia.
A spokesman said: “Additionally, the Avcon/ExecuJet Flight Operations alliance is pursuing new sales and charter opportunities in central, southern and western Europe.”
