Helicap, the French HEMS operator, recently celebrated 15,000 hours logged on a fleet of twelve EC135 helicopters, according to Police Aviation News. A further EC135 is on order for delivery in 2002. Eurocopter claims that two hundred and twenty EC135 heli-copters have now been sold and 165 delivered. More than 30 per cent of this total have been sales into the EMS field.
