According to Police Aviation News, the Dutch National Police have signed a contract for eight MD902 Explorers. The first two are expected before the end of this year. The finalisation of the deal was delayed in part by a court case unsuccessfully brought by Eurocopter. The allegations made were that the customer had not had the opportunity to consider all the options available before committing to the NOTAR equipped type.
