Information from the UK Register of Civil Aircraft is being offered free of charge on the Civil Aviation Authority’s (CAA) internet site. The UK’s civil aircraft register was first established in 1999 and covers all UK registered aircraft. As well as details on current registrations, visitors to the site will also be able to view some historical data dating back to the beginning of UK aviation. The CAA says that the on-line register will be as up-to-date as possible with the day’s new data being uploaded every evening. See www.srg.caa.co.uk/aircraftregister/ginfo_dbsearch.asp
