Occitania has taken delivery of a second Citation CJ1. It became operational within the company’s extensive Le Bourget-based jet fleet on March 5.
Said Olivier Dubois of Occitania: “The interior, in leather, is config-urated with four seats and a toilet at the back. We can provide, if required, a hostess on board. Performance of this aircraft is fully adapted for European trips: Charter rates for the CJ1 are 2210 per hour, plus landing fees of 380 per touch down.”
Alain Regourd, president of Occitania’s holding company Regourd Aviation told EBAN that the CJ1 was chosen because “it is a new generation of aircraft, its fuel efficiency was very interesting and it is an entry level small jet with a cost compared to the Beech 200 – but it is a jet. It is ideal for two or three people travelling around Europe.”
“We have a new terminal in Le Bourget with new facilities to a very high executive standard,” he said.
Occitania has two Falcon 900s, three 50s, two CitationJets, and a Falcon 20.
The first CJ1 arrived about four months ago, and has been around mainland Europe and the UK.
“The second CJ will be based in Cannes; this is a more active market for us in the summer, and the company has opened a new office in the south of France. A Falcon 50 will be based down there also,” added Regourd.
