Shadin Company’s Engine Trend Monitor (ETM) has become standard equipment on all new TBM-700s. According to Shadin, ETM makes decision making on maintenance issues more accurate and also provides data on precise tracking and reporting of flight time, engine hours and performance variations. ETM provides tracking of engine performance and conditions without the pilot having to fill out forms. The information can also be downloaded and taken from the cockpit to a personal computer.
