Jet Aviation Basel will outfit Boeing’s second-owned BBJ, called the Boeing Corporate Jet 2 (BCJ-2).

The design concept for the interior outfitting of the jet was developed by Donald Thompson Industrial Design of New York in conjunction with a group of leading US interior designers. The aim of the new interior is to provide business functionality with home comfort.

The interior will feature internet data ports at each seat and a satellite-based telecommunications system.

Thomas M. Lindberg, vp and coo of Boeing Business Jets, said: “After an extensive bidding process for this project, we felt that Jet Aviation would be the best choice.”
