Boeing Business Jets has delivered its first BBJ 2. Initially scheduled for delivery on February 28, the aircraft was prevented from departing Seattle until March 3 after an earthquake hit the area and damaged the runway at King County International Airport. The aircraft was unaffected by the tremor measuring 6.8 on the Richter scale, and was eventually able to take off from the 4,700 feet of usable runway.
