A J Walter has announced initial provisioning for two BBJs, valued at just over $3 million and linked into a five year support programme. The company will also administer the warranties with the Boeing Gold Card Service.
Md Christopher Whiteside said: “We are pleased to win the initial provisioning tender because the BBJ is technically, closely linked to the B737-600/700/800 series. Although the BBJ is known as a corporate jet, most of the systems are common to the commercial variant of the current 737. This gives us the opportunity to forge a better working relationship with Boeing and their sub-contractors, and market the spare parts to commercial as well as BBJ operators.”
