Hartzell Propeller has announced promotions to its OEM and Top Prop sales divisions, and the formation of an aircraft applications engineering group, an intermediary between sales and engineering.
Kevin Karam is account representative for the OEM sales group, with a specialisation in agricultural sales. Ken Johnson holds the same position, and Hartzell say his extensive pilot qualifications will be valuable. Nancy Allenbaugh has been appointed a sales representative for the Top Prop group, coming from the web department.
The aircraft applications engineering group will be headed by Mike Disbrow; the group will develop new propeller blade designs, spinner designs, de-icing equipment and STCs, as well as flight test functions. Disbrow has been with the company for 13 years.
