Dassault keeps mum about new Falcon family

Contrary to much press speculation, the only concrete news to have been released by Dassault Aviation is that the company is planning to launch a new generation of planes, centred around new aerodynamics.

Dassault Falcon Jet’s director of communications Ralph Aceti told EBAN: “There are new developments in the pipeline which are ultimately going to lead to improvements in the entire line of aircraft.

“Nothing has been officially announced at this moment but we anticipate that we might make some announcements at the Paris Air Show in June.”

When questioned as to whether the aircraft would be ready within five years, Aceti said: “It’s too premature to say right now. There’s a lot of planning and programming that has to come together and that’s why the announcements won’t be made until Paris, when we’ll be in a better position to talk about impact, timeline and how far reaching that’s going to be.”
