Sweden’s Patria Ostermans Aero AB, part of the Finnish Patria Group, has been appointed by Agusta S.p.A. as the authorised service centre for a total area which includes Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and the Baltic States.

The service centre authorisation covers the AB206, AB204, AB205, AB212, AB412 programmes and also the Agusta 109 series.

Agusta and Patria Ostermans have during the past years collaborated in many programmes.

One such programme has seen Ostermans become the main supplier of maintenance for the Swedish military AB206 and AB204 over the past 15 years.

More recently, Agusta and Ostermans joined together with Bell Helicopter as the “Griffon-Team,” offering the HKP 12 to the Swedish Defence Forces. The programme was the transferred to eventually

become the Nordic Standard Helicopter Programme.

A spokesman said: “The number of people who operate A109 aircraft in the Nordic area has steadily increased.”

Patria Ostermans specialises in the areas of helicopter maintenance support including airframes, avionics, dynamic components and engines with comprehensive jig/fixtures.
