German operator and NetJets vendor FAI Airservice has received approval to operate into London City Airport with its Citation V. The charter company operates a fleet of four Citations (CJ1, CI, CII and CV) and two EMS helicopters, all of which are based at either Nuremberg, Munich or Leipzig-Halle.

Meanwhile, FAI recently opened a branch office at Munich’s GAT and will permanently base at least one of its four Citations there.

Recent staff appointments include Jochen Petereit who has left Comfort-Air to head the company’s Munich operations; and Bernd Stegmann, who is the new director of ground operations for FAI’s home base at Nuremberg Airport. He joins the company from MTM Aviation, which is based in Munich.
