The Turkish National Police has ordered ten MD 600N helicopters. Deliveries of the six-to-eight seat, single engine aircraft will begin this year, according to Police Aviation News. The helicopters will handle a variety of police missions with air support bases all over Turkey. The Turkish police selected the MD 600N after an evaluation of four single engine helicopters. The sale of the MD 600Ns further strengthens the presence of MDHI in Turkey.
