According to press reports, Philips’ own business jet – a Falcon 900 – was deployed to search for the world’s largest racing catamaran, Team Philips, after it had sunk roughly 600nm off the Irish coast just before Christmas. Despite a thorough search, the business jet mission – carried out two days after the crew had been rescued from the storm-ravaged vessel on December 21 – was to no avail.
