B-N Group Limited, which acquired the assets of Britten-Norman Limited in April this year, has announced the sale of the first aircraft to be completed under the new ownership. The aircraft is an Islander BN2B-26 which has been purchased by Aer Arann of Galway, Eire, which operates flights within Ireland including daily scheduled services between Connemara and the Aran Islands.
EBAN spoke to Bob Wilson, executive director at the B-N Group, he said: “We are very encouraged by the way the market has responded to the new ownership, we’re feeling very bullish about that and the future.”
The second Islander aircraft to be completed by the B-N Group is for a Japanese client, based at Okinawa. The company’s next delivery is expected in early 2001 – in the form of a Defender 4000. “We’re back in business.” Wilson added.
