Irish operator, Westair, has recently registered a Navajo, based on the Isle of Man, and an Aztec F, based at Ireland’s Shannon airport – the acquisitions boost the company’s total fleet to 17 aircraft. “The Navajo is part of a joint venture we’ve done with Ireland Air Transport and the Aztec F is being used for training in our school and ad hoc charter. We have two Aztecs already which are used for survey mapping – traditionally we’ve used Navajos and Aztecs going back half a century,” said Westair’s Robert Carpenter.
