No competition on Dubai horizon
Dubai-based Aerogulf Services, a helicopter operator specialising in oil exploration and support operations, reports that it remains the only helicopter operator in Dubai and faces no competition in its field. “To that extent we’re very successful,” jokes Barry Smith, chief pilot. The company uses a fleet of six Bell 212s, three MBB 105s and one Bell 206; the latter is used for sightseeing tours of Dubai city.
