Flying Partners C.V., based in Antwerp, Belgium has recently placed an order for three Citations: a Citation encore and two Citation Bravos. Aircraft deliveries will begin in January 2002.

Flying Partners claims it offers a "unique" combination of traditional air taxi and shared ownership services.

In addition to its JAR-OPS 1 flight operations, the company operates a JAR part 145 maintenance facility specialising in Citations, and a full service FBO at Antwerp International Airport.

"We are confident that these new acquisitions are the key to expanding our shared ownership and charter operations," said Flying Partners' founder and ceo, Bernard Van Milders.

"Our decision to invest in the new Encore and Bravos is based on the aircraft's high level of reliability, its low operating cost and cabin comfort."
