EADS-CASA and Eurocopter have signed an agreement to establish Eurocopter Espana. This subsidiary will take over from HESA, the first Eurocopter representative established in Spain. After a preliminary build-up period, the unit will be fully operational by early 2001 and will provide a base from which helicopters will be exported to other countries. The subsidiary will be located south of Madrid, in Quatro Vientos.
