Ibis Aerospace is to introduce a high-performance version of its Ae270 single engine turboprop. The Ae270HP will feature the Pratt and Whitney Canada PT6A-66A turboprop engine allowing it to reach cruising altitude faster, thereby improving fuel efficiency. The company says the aircraft provides additional mission capability where higher altitudes and increased speed are important.
