Messier-Dowty, manufacturer of landing gear systems, has appointed Colin Fernie as group vice president of the company’s business and regional aircraft business unit.

He succeeds Allan Harvey, who had been serving as acting group vice president and continues as vice president of business development.

Fernie’s 17 years in the industry includes manufacturing experience while at Bombardier.
