Meggitt Avionics has gained STC approval for its MAGIC EFIS and EIDS upgrade for the Twin Commander 690, and expects similar approvals for the Conquest 441 in September and for the King Air C90 and 200, Conquest 425 and Cheyenne II by mid-2003.

UK-based Meggitt says its system is low cost and easy to install, yet uses the latest in LCD and solid state sensor technology.

The EFIS includes Primary Flight Display, Navigation Display and ADAHRS and can be combined with a new three-axis, fully digital autopilot.
