Eurojet Italia adds a Lear 45, with two more 40s on the way
Eurojet Italia has been pushing forward with its fleet expansion programme, with the firm order and further option for the Lear 40 and the recent delivery of a Lear 45.

Eurojet Italia has been pushing forward with its fleet expansion programme, with the firm order and further option for the Lear 40 and the recent delivery of a Lear 45. “We already have one Lear 45 and many of our customers request this type of aircraft, so after two years we have decided to add another. Both aircraft are owned by the company and have proved to be the busiest in our fleet,” said Edoardo Chesi.

The company tends towards Bombardier products for its mid-range jets, although it has a Cessna Citation I as a shorter-range offering. “The 45 generally flies around Europe; to Sardinia, Greece or Spain for example. Clients are mainly Italian based and can be businessmen, football players, those working in the fashion world or singers. But I think it’s around 60 to 70 per cent who are travelling on business,” said Chesi.

It’s not only the company’s owned fleet which is growing, the management side is also receiving an addition. “Our fleet includes two Lear 31s, a Citation I and next week we are expecting a Citation II, through a management contract. At the moment things are going well for the company and business is increasing as our country’s economy becomes more stable. So it’s possible that we will expand with more managed aircraft as we are continually in contact with aircraft owners,” he said.

The aircraft are based at Linate, although customers can also book them through the company’s commercial office in Cannes, France. “In my opinion Linate is the most important airport in the north of Italy for business aviation,” added Chesi.
