The first test flight of the Gulfstream V-SP saw the operation of Honeywell's new Primus Epic integrated avionics system. This system features four liquid crystal displays, which are designed to improve the display of terrain, navigational, weather and primary flight data information.

Other Honeywell systems were also used on the five-hour flight, including the environmental control system, new thrust recovery outflow valve and RE-220 auxiliary power unit.
