Le Bourget based Aero Services has completed a new lounge, installed exclusively for visiting pilots. Ground handling manager, Steve Gulvin, told us: “It’s located in a quiet area of our facility, with air conditioning, internet access, along with telephone and fax facilities. There are also DVD and VCR players with a selection of English films and comedies (including Fawlty Towers).” The lounge also offers pilots a free bar, microwave, plus tea and coffee machines.

Opened last month, the loung was created to give crews a calm environment with executive facilities. “Pilots can relax, check their emails, update their jeppesens, or just simply chill out watching a film,” added Gulvin.
