On September 10-12, 2002, the world's largest purely civil aviation event takes place at the Orange County Convention Centre, Orlando, Florida. The event will be attended by representatives from all sectors of business aviation, including pilots, dispatchers, flight department and maintenance managers, flight attendants, chief operating officers and chief executive officers.

NBAA will occupy over one million square feet of exhibit space and Orlando Executive Airport will host the static aircraft display.

All the major business aviation companies will attend, including Cessna Aircraft, which will be celebrating its 75th anniversary at the event, as well as making new product and service announcements. Chairman and ceo, Russ Meyer, said: "We will also salute one million customers. Although it's impossible to pinpoint the one-millionth customer, we are certain that over the last 75 years we have attained this number. The customer we've chosen to represent this milestone will be announced at NBAA".

Pilatus, manufacturer of single-engine turboprop aircraft, will hold its first annual maintenance and operations seminar at NBAA. The session will cover a broad range of topics, and will provide an overview of new maintenance and diagnostic programmes available to operators.
